How do frats decide who gets a bid?
by: KevHow do frats decide who gets a bid? Do they vote? Is it just the rush committee? I have no idea?

All members vote. In some frats they will go with majority vote, in others it has to be unanimous and one guy can hold you out. This is where the term 'black balled' comes from, each member would put either a white or black marble in to indicate their vote, white for yes and black for no, maybe still in use in some chapters maybe not.
