Greek life rivalries?

I’ve heard that there are some Greek rivalries. From what I can see the fraternities have more rivalries than the sororities. What are some of the rivalries and why do they have beef?

There's no beef other than they are cross rushing the same guys. There are groups of certain houses that overlap in the rushee pool every year. It's just competition for members, that's all.

i mean not really theres some sororities that pull from the same pool of girls like the southern sororities that want mostly alabama girls but pretty much the only “rivalry” is recruitment.

Dke and phi tau have some beef over housing. phi tau took dkes house a few years ago and there has been tension since. nothing serious, just stealing composites and pranks, the usual

That house has been Phi Taus property since the 1980s. DKE took it over when they got kicked off. DKE violated their lease agreements and Phi tau got it back at the end of their suspension. Most older students at auburn know this.
