They're not overrated. They have plenty of hot girls in each pledge class, and they take some that aren't as attractive that are more involved who keep them from looking like total groupies. When people think of phi mus they think at all the pretty blondes that are always drunk at every fraternity party but if you look at their composite they're not much better than anyone else. They tend to be very high maintenance and want to be the center of attention.
The people that don't like them are the ones who aren't what Phi Mus consider good groups. They only hang out with SAEs, KAs, Fijis, Sigma Nus, some Betas, and athletes but only groups like that. They pride themselves on that "better than you" attitude and some people just don't like that.

There are some exceptions, the girl that ran for homecoming dates a Sigma Pi but point is the younger ones hang out where the older ones tell them it's acceptable to, and they're easily the most superficial group besides maybe KD

Yeah but that's also because Theta Chi has become a top fraternity and Lambda Chi is bouncing back to the top. So don't give Phi Mu too much credit for not being superficial.

HAHAHAHAHAHA are you kidding me? Look, Theta Chi is NOT a top fraternity yet. Sorry. Theyre tryhards arnd are trying to be top but theyre not there yet

Calm down. Me and my sisters have never understood why all of you other fraternities hate so hard on Theta Chi. It kinda hypocritical that y'all call them try hards when you all put your heart and soul into bringing them down. I'm a Phi Mu and I hate this thread, but what you're doing is just adding more unnecessary fuel to a dumb post.

I have older relatives who are Phi Mu's, including two who are in their late 60's at least. They say the Phi Moo thing has been around since they were in college, so nothing new and Phi Mu's all over the country hear it. It's just a nickname thing, like other sororities have ones that rhyme with their letters or sound close to them. There's even Phi Moo tee shirts and other clothes now.

That's mostly their older girls. Tons of their younger girls hang out with Theta Chi and Lambda Chi, so they're not as superficial as you say.
