Auburn Rush HBO Doc Filming

I’m a recent Auburn grad who currently works in the film industry in Atlanta, a good friend of mine works for HBO. He confided in me a couple of days ago that HBO is currently working on a Auburn Rush documentary set to be released in early 2024. There’s around 30 PNM’s on the project and a few ex/dropped members.
With the insane amount of hype built around the Bama Rush doc last year, it seems like this is only the beginning of HBO exposé style Panhellenic documentaries in states with one party consent laws. I’ve never been a fan of these voyeuristic types of documentaries, they’re fked up honestly. Just thought I’d give a heads up considering I have a sister and friends still in Greek life at Auburn. The SAG strike will have little to no effect on the production as the “actors” aka the PNM’s are not represented by a union. They may have issues with writers but that’ll likely just push the release date back a few months. The documentary is definitely still happening though as filming has already started.

I can't imagine anyone would care about Auburn recruitment. Bama I get with everything it has going for it to be popular. They have a huge tiktok hype, enormous beautiful mansions and a famous football team. Georgia and Arizona are both one-party consent states too; there are several of those. UGA has a similar vibe to Bama but AU has a huge recruitment too and its culture is more in keeping with what people think they want to see about sororities, hot party girls. Why would they film at Auburn?

They aren't filming without writers being on board. It's a scripted show. And the bama rush one was terrible and got panned. How much more can they 'expose'? Is that awful woman doing this one too and those pathetic rush coaches again?
