I'm with you. PNMs can be upset or whatever but if they're already trying to strategize COB then you're right - they only want certain houses who have already shown they don't want her. She wants permission to drop and she wants assurances that "good" houses COB for a backup option. It could not be more obvious

To give you an honest answer and this is just a thought NOT an absolute but the ones that typically DON’T are : phi mu, KD, AGD, ADPI, AOPi, pi phi . Most of the others will offer COB. It doesn’t mean there are bad if they offer COB. Their nationals require certain numbers. Good luck at rush! There are so many great chapters!

I said MOST of the others will offer COB, please READ for the person that responded. Geez it’s not a bad thing. I’m just trying to put it out there not to depend on COB. And as far as pi phi I’ve never heard of anyone getting COB but that certainly doesn’t mean they don’t, maybe they do or will. Relax.

Tri-delt hasn’t had a COB in the last 3 years. Pi Phi…are u kidding me. Chi-0 added new pledges 2nd semester 2022. If you are going to get on here and talk, you need to know the facts.

Also the houses that are most likely to COB are the ones that are less popular bc of ppl dropping. They are most likely not to make quota.
So you might not actually have a better choices if you decide to COB.

If you do that, you would still be eligible for a snap bid( which aren’t that common, but might happen” or COB, if anyone is eligible to do that. I hope, if you continue, that these houses that aren’t your favorites right now, will wow you by the end of the week. Good luck!!

She has the right to initially be upset over being dropped, it happens every year. It doesn’t mean she should automatically drop out. Perspective can change after a deep breath and a few days to take it all in. Hang in there PNM, rush is brutal but it’s going to be ok.
