looks like a TON of people got accepted with way under a 3.5. And wait were you saying a 24 act is good? If you put it that way I guess you're right, but at my school a good act score was over 28

@haha statistics mean nothing if they aren't examined within context. Alabama has many more lower quality students apply than Auburn, that's why their acceptance rate is lower. 24,000 apply to Alabama whereas Auburn has 17,000 apply. 53% of 24,000 is 12,000 which is NOT stastistics for incoming freshmen. Oh, and 77% of 17,000 is 13,000 so really there isn't a difference in these numbers. Those statistics represent not only undergraduates but graduate students as well. We're talking about freshmen here. There will be plenty of quality PNMs at Auburn AND Alabama this year and both schools will have great freshmen classes. War eagle.
