My experience with every sorority for incoming PNMs 2

ΧΩ - Chi Omega - Chi O

They’ve made quite a few mistakes this year that have gotten them put on social probation until next December I believe? I can only really describe these events as mean girlish but I don’t really think that they are ALL mean girls. I know a few girls in the sorority that are the kind that you can never really get close to? They are a little fake but not to be mean to you, just not really interested in talking to people outside of their circle. I went to high school with one of them and she was the same back then, it’s not malicious. This is a sorority where you definitely need to know someone to get in or have a strong legacy connection. I wouldn’t really say they are all from the same place, not like some others where they literally came from the same high school at least. This is the only sorority that I’ve heard whispers of hazing. They definitely keep to themselves but when I do see them like at Greek sing they are out in FULL force with a ton of spirit.

ΔΔΔ - Delta Delta Delta - Tri Delt

They are nice girls, I don’t have a ton of experience with them other than they get a littleeeee too serious in competition sometimes, but don’t we all? Similar personality to alpha gam in the sense that they can be a lot sometimes. I’m pretty sure that they party? Great spirit for competition and the dolphin slays

ΔΓ - Delta Gamma - DG

These are literally the sweetest girls I love them so much, not sure how the sisterhood is within the sorority but whenever I meet one of their girls I just love them! Definitely southern girls. A good amount of them/all of them like to go out but I don’t think they are the type to get in trouble or do anything too crazy. #3 in grades!!! Didn’t stick out to me hugely during rush, they were always like my latest party in the day, but I love love love my friends there now! I would say based on the girls that I know they are pretty religious. Sweetest girls!

ΔΖ - Delta Zeta - DZ

Has a ton of different girls and wow are they excellent at dodgeball, and other intramurals. Seem like a fun and low pressure sisterhood, they definitely like to have fun! Very spirited at competitions and super creative with themes imo

ΓΦΒ - Gamma Phi Beta - Gphi

These girls are very pretty and sweet! Their priorities definitely lie with partying. Rush parties were a little all over the place, kind of felt like my girls didn’t know what to do if that makes sense? It was by no means bad it just felt awkward compared to the ones where they obviously had a set plan. I’d say that they always have a presence at competitive events but they are never true competitors in them when you have other sororities that have actual practice schedules and stuff

KAΘ - Kappa Alpha Theta - Theta

Another diverse group of girls! Some are very shy and just as many LOVE to go out! Pretty awkward rush party for me but they were the very first one I had which meant it was also the rusher’s first party so I can’t blame her! I can’t say that I think they have a super solid sisterhood, seems like they may have some drama. They have a lot of girls in some very difficult majors and they all study hard, even the hardcore partiers. They have good spirit and again a presence at competitive events but aren’t usually competition for the die hards.
