rush

Can someone explain how rush for fraternities works? I thought everything goes down during rush week but apparently there are events in the summer. How does that work if freshman don't move in until August?

They do this at Auburn which is actually sad. It gets earlier and earlier each year and IFC should stop this. There is still formal rush but it is not the same.

To register for rush through IFC and the rush chair for each fraternity will pull some of the invite list from that list. Have your resume info ready when register.

Class is close to complete by the time school starts. There are bids given during rush though. If you are from out of state try to make some of the summer events if possible. If, not you may still be okay. Just let the rush chairman know your situation when they contact you.

The rush chairs of the fraternities you are interested in and let them know you can't make it to rush events due to being out of state, work situation etc Keep in contact with them and then introduce yourself during open rush. You will find the best place for you. War Eagle!!!!
