Odds of rushing as junior transfer?

Transferring from SU this fall. Went there a year to get in state tuition, am I gonna have trouble rushing as a junior?

If you go in open-minded, as everyone should, you will absolutely have options. Some sororities are more likely to take freshman, yes, but some have even pledged seniors. Keep disappointment at bay when some cut you and focus on those that DO invite you back.

I’ll be honest you are not going to get every house back because some national policies state that they can’t take juniors so you will be automatically dropped! Nothing against you!! They just want members who will be there all 4 years

You should be fine. Not every sorority takes juniors but I know an alpha xi who rushed as one and some others take them too

hi, the pool of girls rushing as a sophomore or junior is completely different than those rushing as freshman. a sorority will prioritize a freshman if it comes to it but you should definitely give rushing a chance! like i said panhellenic advocates for the amount of girls rushing that aren’t freshman, you just wont get as many houses back
