Curious who actually posts the ranks on here?
by: CuriousI’m just curious who actually are the people posting the posts about ranks and writing negative comments about Auburn sororities? Is it just a few insecure people stuck in high school? Is it a group of moms desperate to make their daughters look superior? Is it a bunch of middle school girls? If it’s really sorority girls, I wish this site wasn’t anonymous because it would be interesting to see what group of girls feel the need to make others feel less than. I just can’t really imagine people wanting to drag others down. In my personal experience, I have friends in almost all sororities. We love each other, support each other and attend each other’s events. I think Auburn is an amazing place with wonderful women in all sororities. I get so confused on here because most posts are so childish and really degrading. We should be lifting all sororities up. Why are so many people stuck in junior high?

Totally agree with your post and honestly when you read a post saying “so and so” got a great pc, you know it’s written by one of those members or their moms.
Top houses don’t need to come on Greek rank and announce how great they are. It’s the ones who need to make themselves feel better.

Posts are made by anybody who thinks the only way for them to be good is for others to be bad. The people who do videos talking about how they're the best? Also likely posting on here. They make videos and post on here and make PNMs feel like if they don't go to a "top" house they are worthless-when it's not like they are going to offer a bid to all 1700 girls going through. As a result, more girls end up dropping or without a bid and houses fold. Theta, Zeta, DG and GPhi have all folded at Auburn and come back.

It's obvious who makes the most posts -- those with an agenda. They are here for only one or two reasons: 1) self promotion, or 2) tearing down. Just remember that most everything on this site is the opposite of reality. Those chapters that get the most hate are the ones that others feel threatened by. The ones who get the most love are either near the perceived bottom and hence, not a threat, or a self promoter is trying to make the sorority seem more desired than it actually is.

that's basically it. often the ones listed as top are just mid but somebody is trying to make everyone think they're top. the bottom ones don't get much shade because nobody's gunning for them

100% this! I’m from Birmingham and you would think I would love those so called top 5… I liked one, the others were just not me or too intense. Loved the so called middle and could have been very happy in some lower that you don’t hear mentioned on here. So happy where I ended up and we are rarely mentioned here!
