Looking for advice for summer and formal rush. What questions will I be asked? What are things I shouldn't say? What are the best tips to help me obtain a bid? Disclaimer: I'm not a try hard or a kiss ass I'm just wanting to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks.

The best tip I can give is to just be yourself..or better yet, be the "best version" of yourself! Groups want to get to know the real you. My advice is to have fun and enjoy yourself!

Just be yourself. This is one thing I've never understood why people don't get. What in the hell is the point of joining a fraternity that you have to fake a personality to
join.

When you do get a bid, which you likely will, politely hold the bid,
Look around more, meet people who recently accepted,
Meet brothers, find people you like and pledge that damn fraternity.

It's not that hard. Auburn fraternity gentlemen are not one mindless,
Drone stereotype. Every group is different, and everyone in each group is different. Find some people you like.

It's that simple.

Means .... Don't immediately accept the bid. Take time to get to know people.

I'd be carefull holding a bid at a top house. Some will take it as a insult and revoke the bid. The best way to get a bid is by meeting as many people as you can. Brothers in my fraternity want to see a rushee put fourth a lot of effort to obtain his bid.
