Numbers Decreasing?

Does anyone know the final number of how many PNMs signed up for recruitment? Usually they announce that on the insta but the last number they shared was 1,000. Last year there were like 1,800 pnms registered...was there a big decrease and if so, why do we think that is?

Recession? No one has $$$ to be paying for Greek life. Happened 15-20 years ago under similar circumstances. Lots of schools lost a lot of chapters due to membership numbers.
