What is the gpa cut off for most sororities?

worries that my unweighted gpa isnt high enough for most sororities but my weighted is above a 4.0
what are the typical gpas for most members and is there a rank for which sororities prioritize higher gpas

Please stop thinking about ranks. Any ranks. Please don't worry about what is done and focus on what you can control. You can control your look, your conversation, your poise and confidence, your sense of humor. Here's a little thing for you to hang onto - if you impress and they really love you they will overlook whatever GPA target they have and ask you back. Truth.

Not true. There are plenty of girls below a 3.8 who get into your sorority every year. It's not a hard and fast rule from any national because they would lose too many amazing girls. Chapters and schools vary, as do high schools and family circumstances. No NPC sorority dictates a required 3.8 at the national level.

Sororities have an aggregated GPA target, but it's a target, not a hard cut-off for every single pnm. Chapters that recruit well or are grades-focused can do lots of gpa cuts, but not because they are mandated nationally.

Grade forgiveness is going to be reserved for sisters and best friends, and even then it is a process. There are very few girls who make it under this cutoff. There are committees to decide that and the decisions are made before ever meeting you

The fact is we have, and all sororities have, a GPA minimum from our national to which we have to abide. Some sororities set a local one that is higher than national. Sometimes, if they really love you and you are completely exceptional in every other way, they can make a grade risk exception. That is RARE. Be open-minded, be yourself, put your best foot forward and focus on the ones that invite you back.

Honestly I know MANY girls with unweighted 4.0s and TONS of activities and honors that get dropped by lots of houses. Rush is a numbers game. Auburn is full of amazing, high-achieving girls and most houses are going to take about 100. (quota varies and is kindof complicated and your Pi Chi can explain it.) That's why girls should STAY OFF GR and be open to any of the wonderful sororities at Auburn.

There is no point in worrying about your GPA because there isn't anything you can do about it at this point. Concentrate on what you can do during rush to impress. If you go in to this all nervous and worried, instead of cool and confident, you're not going to rush well. Please try to let that stuff go and show your style and personality and positive attitude.

This is simply not true… we have national standards. I know for my sorority it is a 3.8
