greek philanthopy

I am interested in knowing more about greek philanthropy.How are fraternities and sororities involved? What are their philanthropies and how do they help?

KD - 5k shamrock run
AOPi - Run for Rose for Arthritis Foundation
Phi Mu does a BBQ for Children's Miracle Network

i'm wondering what the events are like. philanthropy is important and i was just wondering what all the groups do for events and which charities each group chooses. it's wonderful that auburn is so involved.

Runs for child abuse. No idea who it goes to.

Alpha Gam has a wing jam night at Sky Bar for JDRF which is something about diabetes I think
ADPi does Pie a Pi for theirs. Pie someone in the face

Pi Phi does a dodge the arrow dodge ball tournament . Winner donates to a charity of their choice. Rest goes to the Pi Phi foundation

I forgot ADPi does a 3 on 3 ball tournament. Maybe the Pie thing wasn't their philanthropy

you can look on each sororities website to find out their philanthropy. Typically, each sorority does a fundraiser fall semester and spring semester. The second round of rush is the philanthropy round-each sorority you visit will present information about their philanthropy.

really have loved DDD's DHOP pancake night and DG's Anchor Splash in the past. Fraternities also host philanthropy events, which mostly is sororities doing things/competing. Every chapter here has a philanthropy and does something at some point to raise money for it. If philanthropy is really important to you, in my personal opinion, the houses that care the most about that/have the best events are Zeta, DDD, DG, and GPB.
