All of your questions could be learned if you would just click one tab over and read their individual page instead of starting a discussion. Better yet, you probably already know the answers because it is likely you are a gamma phi. The only people who ask about an individual sorority, on a discussion, are actual members of the said sorority.

It's been open season on the gamma phis lately.Perhaps this was an invitation to continue bashing by a group intent on keeping them down.

I'm just curious-why wouldn't you wait until fall rush when ever single sorority is pledging? You would still be classfied as a freshman. For spring, only a handful might give out bids and then maybe only 1 or 2. You could increase you options by rushing fall.

Well Gamma Phis are fun girls, cheerleader types and like to go out. But their GPA was the lowest of all 17 sororities this year so they'll probably have high GPA requirements for their next pledge class and have all sorts of study hours next year

They're open. Most of their girls are from out of state so as freshman they aren't as stuck up as girls like KDs, Phi Mus, and Alpha Gams. They're much more open to meeting people and not pushing you away because you aren't a Beta, KA, Snu, Fiji, SAE, ect. They've got some very attractive girls and a lot that are very unattractive, like most groups except they have more of the latter. Downfall fall is they aren't really classy, not your typical southern sorority girl. They're also welcome at any fraternity house because they party a lot and they have a growing reputation for being easy to hook up with. Slowly getting more involved around campus, but you never see one of their girls running for Miss AU, homecoming or anything big like that. Gamma Phi isn't my favorite but they're okay. I think most ranking you see for them in the middle tiers are accurate

The truth is that they are no more or less good looking, classy, or easy to hook up with than girls in the other houses. The comments above are just more of the bashing that has happened since they started getting better and impinging on other houses' ranks.

Grades are very important, but grades are not the sole factor in improving a sorority. To improve you want your girls to be as well rounded as possible.As a whole, gamma phi, is a complete mix of girls. Anyone could find a group here. Are they top dogs? No. Are they scum on the bottom of your shoe? No. They are an sold middle teir sorority, just hanging out like the rest of us.

to all the sororities. GB is a good group, as are all the others. All are just personal preferences as you can tell.

Good grades are important and GPB is as good as any of the other groups. Those posting on here with rankings are just putting their own groups at the top and groups they are jealous of at the bottom. There is no ranking system in reality at AU, so it is definitely just those people postings own personal preferences (their own group of course.)

Work on keeping your grades up and being involved. All come together to hopefully make you a better person and if your lucky...you'll get a bid.
