Thanks for your honest feedback. I've received a lot of interest from DTD and the guys seem really nice and genuine. Of course, everyone is generally nice during rush. I'm not a huge partier but instead want a network of guys to meet, participate in sports with, and create some new life-long bonds. I suppose that can happen anywhere - just wanted to make sure my instincts weren't way off here. As you know, I'm from out of state and don't have much reference to draw from.

@out of state,
I totally know where you're coming from. I'm also an out of state student from kinda far away. I ended up going to some summer rush events in order for them to get an idea of who I was. I was very lucky to get a few bids, but I pledged Sigma Nu. Good luck with your recruitment, this has been a very busy week for all of the fraternities and PNM's going through rush. Have you swung by the SN house by any chance? Also, DTD does have great guys, yes every fraternity is nice during rush, but for them, it's not an act. I can't speak for all their members, but the guys I know/ am friends with in DTD are genuine guys.

Also, let me leave you some key advice. Tie your experiences in high school, your community/church in with their philanthropy/charity/fundraising beliefs and what they stand for. That will make them remember you(if they have not already). Also, just be yourself. Every Fraternity here has great guys, don't get caught up in the whole "tiers" thing. Just follow your heart. Every group makes great contributions to the University. You seem like a great guy, and the fact that you want great brotherhood speaks volumes about you. Farmhouse, ATO and LXA also have just as strong brotherhoods (just to name a few). Good luck!
