are there any major fraternities that are not already full on pledges?

I think "major" is kind of a weird word. Every Fraternity has great guys and they all do good things. But in terms of the ones that are more well-known, I'm pretty sure there are some that are still trying to fill the last few slots of their pledge classes. We gave out bids to a few kids during formal recruitment last year, I know some kids in FIJI who gots bids during fall recruitment, same with KA, Sig EP and Beta. Are you going through fall recruitment in like almost a week from now? It ends on September 2nd, I believe (whatever that Friday is).

when does fall recruitment for Fraternities start at Auburn?

I know SX and Fiji are still recruiting guys during Fall Rush. I'm sure almost every top house still has bids to give out. Its not even september yet.


For yall strictly looking for top houses, theyre all good in different ways. You should accept until you rush them all. The ratings on this site are off, but the discussions are pretty dead on and unanimous.

SX is sigma chi right?

and i believe formal rush is next monday-wednsday but I'm not positive. I'd like to see a little bit of the fraternities im interested in before then though so i can see what they are really like.

@Yank. You're gonna be a Freshman, right? Contact the Fraternities on their websites on the AU Greek Life webpage. I can't speak for the rest of the Fraternities, but I'm sure they'd be more than willing to have you and other people over.

Just a last few words of advice, don't get caught up in the rankings. Yes, the 8 schools that are ranked 1-8 here could very well be what the reality is, but every fraternity has great people. Theta Chi, Chi Pi, Sig Ep and FH have terrific guys. usually, every fraternity gets along with one another. As a SN, I can honestly say that we get along with virtually all of them-we have brothers that hang out with brothers in KA, Theta Chi, SX, FH, Beta, just to name a few.
