every fraternity southern?

Are all fraternities here really southern?

I'm thinking I wont fit in too well if so

Almost all of them are more southern based. Your biggest southern ones would be KA, ΣΝ, ΘΧ, ΣΑΕ, and ΑΓΡ so I'd definitely stay away from those if I were you. Your best bet for a not very southern fraternity would be ΣΦΕ for sure, ΑΤΩ, and maybe ΣΠ.

Interior Design school in the country....top engineering school. Auburn is not just an agricultural school....Although, we are tops in that area as well.

Honestly AU is so southern and redneck that everyone seems to think its not. Don't get me wrong as a northerner its charming… but also blatantly obvious.

All the fraternities are southern. KA is just as southern as everyone else in reality. The only fraternity that really stands out as more southern than the rest is AGR. They're more like rednecks.

I mean, I would venture to say the entire school is more southern, and the fraternities just follow suit. You can walk across campus and most people, gdis or greeks, are going to be dressed "southern" style. Sure there's always those people that dress however else you can imagine, but if you would like to "fit in" and look stylish, you are going to need to cater that style to the region you are in.

For example, imagine some dude from England going to Auburn. He may be the most stylish person ever in Europe, but European style is nothing close to southern American style, so he's going to look ridiculous. Its his decision what to do about that, but if you want girls around campus to give you attention, you are going to need to dress to their taste. When in Rome, do what the Romans do.
