Why would y'all bring up an old dying post about tiers to scream about people ranking? It had all just settled down. No one likes ranking, not 98% of the ones ranked in the top and none of the ones ranked in the middle and bottom. It's some random people, guys, or one or two silly girls in the groups. It by no means represents the whole of any of these groups! 3 of these so called top tier have the lowest amount of ranks on their page and the other 2 have posted lots in response to attacks on them. It's just as bad for the few sororities who STAY on this site ranking their own high. It's not the whole sorority, its just a few girls who can't stay away from here. It's all the same. You drop it and maybe these few nonsensical posters will as well. You're just adding fuel to the fire by dragging out an old post!

the OP--your ranking is true but tiers don't matter because all the groups are great. The only thing the "tiers" show is how many connections you need to get into that house.

of the rankings. It makes the groups that are being placed as "top" look like they are posting this ridiculous mess. This past rush was fantastic for ALL our sororities and it shows in the PanHellenic spirit and respect that we show for each other. I always see sorority girls out with girls from all the groups and independents. THAT is what makes Auburn so great. Quit this immature postings since it makes it look like juicy campus all over again. Maybe it's not even students writing the questions since they seem to be the same on many campus discussion boards.

not that I don't agree with you that the present rankings are negative and inaccurate at this point, because I see so many groups that have made huge strides. In part because of the amazing girls coming through rush and partly because of groups holding girls accountable for their grades, rep, ect.. BUT... for you to say the higher groups are so satisfied with their own achievements that they make no effort to improve (definition of resting on their laurels) is even more inaccurate! I love how, in defense of people ranking sororities low...the reaction is to speak negatively of those ranked higher on here. It's a back handed stab and it's just as bad! You can't say ALL ARE GOOD and in the same sentence say something negative about another group. I would think everyone would be happy things have shaken up! It makes everyone better and Auburn better! Hooray for the groups rising and hooray for the groups that have done well all along. Aren't we all in this together?

with the last post. All the groups are good and it is just one or two on here writing and ranking bad things. I know it is difficult to not fight back when someone is bashing, but that is what they want. Let's support all our sororities. If there are bad comments, negate them with a positive.

There are tiers, and AZD, KAT and KKG are at the bottom. Saying there are no bottom sororities makes you look sadder than you are.

Just someone trying to start something by posting negative posts about our groups. All are indeed wonderful! Pan <3!!

At AU there is no such thing as TIERS. On this site, there is! You can't rate a sorority without saying what "tier" you think they are. However, having said that, at AU, the bigger groups who have been traditionally know as the groups most sought after are 5 groups that are well established, have tons of legacies, and very successful in recruiting and getting girls who are well rounded, academic, and have been know as leaders. They are each looking for a similar-ish type girl, except for PhiMu who is looking for a slightly different version of that girl. The next group is 9 sororities who have their acts totally together! They have a great rush every year and anyone chosen by them is incredibly lucky to get a bid, and will have great sisters and definitely a great all around sorority experience. Some of them are looking for the ones similar to the 5 above, others are looking for a more laid back kind of girl. Zeta, PiPHi, and GammaPhi look for a similar-ish type of girl. AOPI, DG, and AChiO the same. DDD, SK, and DZ probably end up with similar-ish girls as well. The other 3 have really come on board the past 2 years and are getting amazing girls and they are all working together and hard, and they are making it where it's right on the verge of AU becoming 2 tier. Each of the 17 have different personalities as a whole, even the ones looking for similar type girls. Are they all good? YES!

As a Theta sister, I thank you all for the Pan love and support, but rest assured that we are just fine and not stressing about the "rankings." We don't get on this site too much, but I will say that we are beyond proud of what we have accomplished in 4 short years on this campus. It only motivates us to work even harder. Last year was when we turned the corner. We were selective these past 2 recruitments because PNM'S just loved us and we put on an amazing rush. We got beautiful girls LIKE EVERY GROUP DID. We love and support the entire Greek community. Pan love and War Eagle to all!
