There are no sorority houses at Auburn, and only like 4 of the fraternities are actually considered good. Alabama is a huge step up. Tuscaloosa has more bars, is bigger, friendlier people, and better atmosphere. I have gone to both colleges, as I went to auburn my freshmen year against my will. It's super small and boring

You're totally right, I should have just thrown myself into student debt instead of having my parents pay for college, great idea...

Your original post said you’ve gone to both schools. Your freshman year was spent at Auburn against your will. I’m assuming you transferred to Alabama after that per your comment. I’m guessing from your second comment that one year at Auburn kept you out of debt. Awesome for you.

But auburn is a cow college, so you're more likely to be around traditional country, and sometimes hillbilly people...
