When people say to make connections in each sorority before rush about how many do they mean?

People aren't exactly saying to make connections, they are saying that connections matter. Connections happen over time because you are in state or in the south. Connections are from high school, summer camp, church, clubs, family and family friends, etc. They are personal, not something you can go out and get to make your chances in recruitment better. Now, if you are already on campus as a student and looking for COB or to rush next fall, you can make connections through classes and dorms and organizational involvement and other friend groups.
