georgia girla

Why are so many Georgia girls being left with only bottom options. I’ve always heard that the Alabama girls almost blackball the Georgia girls in favor of the Alabama girls but just hoped it wasn’t true? Who is in charge? In Panhellenic even involved?

Sororities like KD and Phi Mu mostly keep it to girls they know from home. Besides that I’ve never heard of any sorority specifically “excluding” OOS girls. Most have a very diverse mix of in and out of state.

There’s girls from Knoxville, Houston, atl, and other places from out of state in houses like phi mu though

Panhellenic doesn't choose for the sororities who they take. and yes they are very much involved in running the process of recruitment.

No one can know with any certainty how any particular demographic is doing in recruitment, including you. Just because a few girls you know from Georgia are not getting houses back that they want doesn't prove a bias in recruitment. Also as stated, each house is free to choose their members how ever they wish. And most importantly, there are no bottom houses. There are no bottom girls.
