freshman vs sophomore

Hi guys. I’m a freshman, but I have enough credits that I’ll be in mostly sophomore level classes. I know sophomores are at a bit of a disadvantage, so I was wondering how this will affect my rush?

Well, make sure to tell people who ask what year you are that you're a sophomore by credit hours. That ALWAYS impresses EVERYONE.

not sure if you’re being serious or not but even if you’re taking all sophomore classes, you’re still a first-year college student so it really shouldn’t affect anything imo

Yeah, I’m being serious haha. I came in with a lot of AP credit. I know at some colleges if you have all your first year credits they consider you a sophomore, and I just didn’t know how they handle that here. Thank you for your answer!
