pledge class 2018

Since almost 1,700 girls signed up for recruitment are the pledge classes going to be bigger or are there going to be more girls dropped?

Well let’s say 100 of those are released / they drop out so there’s 1600... That means 89 for a pledge class, give or take. Not sure what it’s been previous years

Usually only a handful of girls get dropped from every single sorority

There won't be releases made to keep numbers down. There is not a cap on new member class size. That is set by Quota, which isn't determined until pref round. Everyone who goes to pref will get a bid as long as they put their pref houses on their card, i.e. don't suicide.

They usually make the quota higher if there are more girls rushing. That is why they just recently added a new sorority (trisig) because there were so many girls coming through rush and the pledge classes were just getting bigger and bigger
