houses for me?
by: pnm?
Hi y’all! I’m going through rush this summer, and of course I’m going to go into it with an open mind, but I just wanted to see what houses you think I will fit into. I’m not going to give away every single detail about myself because I don’t want to be that person...
Again, I am keeping my options 100% open and am going to give every single house a chance. I’m not only going to focus on the houses you tell me, I’m just curious.
So average looks in all regards
Higher than 3.8 GPA
Some volunteering, multiple honor societies, and a couple clubs
A few relatively large awards / distinctions
No connections, no legacy
Not super loud or super quiet, kind of in between
Able to have a good conversation
Thank you for any input you have, I think it will be interesting to see where you think I would fit :D

With what you listed, there is no reason you can’t find the perfect sorority for you. It’s impossible to put a name out there, but here are a few tips and suggestions. Check your SM and delete anything suggestive or questionable. (drinking, etc.) Soroities DO look at that. Go with an open mind. Most important, BE YOUR Real SELF. Have fun, even though the process is nerve racking! Understand there are ups and downs. You will have days when you get to go Back to a sorority you like, and you will get dropped by some. It’s just how it works, have faith in the process. It’s not about whose prettiest, smartest, etc. It’s about fit and what you can contribute to the whole of their sosriry. If you are dropped, don’t focus and dwell on it and wonder why. Keep focused on the ones that DID invite you back. They are the ones that see something awesome in you. The others aren’t being mean, they MUST make cuts and maybe they saw something in someone else that was a better fit. It’s how recruitment works. In the end, after you have found your place, don’t be sour grapes about the ones you didn’t get. Embrace your new sisters , love every minute, support the Greek system and speak only good.
