How hard is it to get into phi mu being from up north without any connections to current members in phi mu?

I would say it's pretty difficult. But don't go into parties over-analyzing things like this! If they want you, they want you. :)

The better question is Why do you think you only want Phi Mu. Yes, they are a top sorority, but that tier thing really means nothing. Don’t listen to what people say. Every sorority has awesome girls. It’s about finding the perfect fit for you and the sorority finding PNMs they feel can contribute best to their sorority. Keep an open mind. You will surprise yourself!
