They should. Most people won’t dock you for something you can’t help, and if they don’t want you because you got rained on, do you really want to be apart of that sorority anyway?

Rain is the great equalizer! Trust me, the actives walked the same path as you before. Chances are, they got rained on too!! All you can do is prepare for it (rain jacket, umbrella, stuff for hair) and laugh at it. It can actually give you some funny conversations to have.

Hot and humid! One cannot overstate the impact of the humidity! Get a small battery operated fan to use between parties. Use hair products that will tame the frizz, and use a make up setting spray on your face to keep your make up from melting off - some girls like blotting papers too. Drink water often! BTW, don't complain at parties about how hot and humid it is, or how nervous you are or tired or overwhelmed. Be poised and APPEAR to be unruffled at all times, even when you aren't.

Haha.. If you get rained on will the sorority girls take that into account if you look like a whole mess?
