Some houses really want you to be involved, especially in high-profile leadership positions. But it's not like high school where you can balance an academic work load with a good number of extracurriculars. You won't have the time. Maybe one other heavy commitment besides sorority and then something that doesn't require much in the way of time. Again, you can't do it like you can in high school. If your time management skills are not good you will sink if you try too much.
