How many girls that rush end up getting bids? Do most of them that don’t just drop out or were they dropped from all the houses?

It has this info on Auburn’s panhellenic website and explains all the stats.
Something like 90% of girls get a bid on bid day.
However, that 10% of girls who didn’t get a bid weren’t all released from recruitment.
Most of them dropped out early because they didn’t get the house they wanted, but they could’ve gotten a bid if they would’ve stayed in.
Some of them didn’t get a bid because they didn’t maximize their options on preference night or during the week. On preference night, let’s say you go to two houses. If you only rank one and not the other, not only are you taking a risk by not listing both, but you also become ineligible for continuous open bidding and snap bids. This is called “suiciding” and it’s called that because usually it doesn’t work out how you’d want it to. So write down both because if you don’t get your top pick you will almost certainly get your second one.
Very few girls get completely released from recruitment, and the two main reasons they can get released are because one, they have a terrible GPA (or at least below the minimum) or two, they are a risk (ie; there are pictures of them drinking / being drunk, they’ve gotten into physical fights, they have a bad attitude, etc).
Go in with an open mind, write down the maximum number of houses each day, be friendly and be put together, and you’ll be fine! You might not get your top pick but you will get into a house.

Actually, suiciding (or Single Intentional Preference) does not exclude a PNM from a Snap Bid or from COB. It does exclude her from being a Quota Addition. Any PNM who Prefs at two houses and ranks them both is guaranteed a Bid from one of those house.
