#1. Pi Kapp - Have the best recruitment of the three, the most active social life, own their own house, generally the more respected one.
#2. Lambda Chi - Biggest name of the three and have some cool brothers, but they shotgun bid so hard that nobody reapects them. Basically it's 30% top-notch bids, 70% bids to weirdos. Own their own house.
#3. ATO - There's just nothing they do that says "Hey, we're a great fraternity." Very mediocre across the board except for grades. The only fraternity in Auburn that doesn't own their own house. Been house hopping/leasing for years with no plans to build their own anytime soon.

In my opinion Lambda is the best of the three, but i’d say Lambda and Pi Kapp are a little above ATO. Pi Kapp gets some really good out of state guys. Lambda is pretty young, but has some top notch guys. ATO is probably more involved than the others and has a solid GPA, but doesn’t have much else going for them. Lambda won the intramural championship for the 3rd year in a row, has good pull with girls, and has a nice house location. Pi Kapp has good pull with girls and is solid all the way around.

All of them are fallback fraternities for rushees who couldn't get bids in the top houses, but they're still the next best choices. Pi Kapp and Lambda are essentially neck and neck. Can't go wrong between the two. However, ATO is way down the list. They simply aren't a good fraternity to invest your 4 years in. I know a lot of ATOs who regret where they ended up and bought into the "we're building our own house soon" lie. You should rush Lambda, Pi Kapp, Sigma Pi, Pike, or even Farmhouse before you fall back to ATO. Trust me.

Because of the new temporary house, ATO will probably do more than previous terms.

ATO was in Phi Delts house for the past 2 years and did nothing better. Sig Eps house won't be any better

This post is evidence of Pi Kapp thinking Greek rank is a rush tool again. Last year their rush chair's goal was 60 pledges, they bidded a lot of weird guys that didn't have any bids elsewhere. I know for a fact there were several guys in that pledge class that rushed Lambda, Sigma Pi, Pike, and Sig Ep and didn't get bids at those houses so they rushed Pi Kapp. While they do have some solid brothers shotgunning out bids instead of being selective does not mean you have a good recruitment.

In all fairness, none of these three have a good reputation in recruitment. Lambda Chi is notorious as the king of shotgun bidding, Pi Kapp isn't much better, and ATO is just ATO. Each of them are considered "leftover" fraternities for kids that couldn't get bids at the top houses.

Honestly, all of these houses shouldn't be looked as leftovers. Certain people actually just do full-on rush at ATO, Lambda, and Pi Kapp. Yea the top tiers are looked at the most from rushees, but sometimes, it's just not right for them. It's not like these fraternities are all like terrible, they have their own merits in own right, and a brotherhood a lot of people dont know about because they arent in it. These ranking systems are sometimes a joke.

Lambda has better location/achievements. Only thing holding back is not as many older guys as younger, by the end of this year they will be fine. Pi Kapp is underrated. A lot of cool oos guys that love to party. Lambda better social scene, Pi Kapp amazing brotherhood. ATO has grades and that's about it. IFC executive board has a Lambda and a Pi Kapp so they obviously have pretty good involvement.
