fraternity formal rush week

I know I'm going to reach out to fraternities to attend summer events if I can, but what mostly goes around the formal rush point (like first week of classes) for a fraternity? Is it best to go to summer events and attend formal rush, or just stick to one or the other (like only formal rush).

Go to Summer events. It’s a must. You will go to formal rush as an acceptee or as some one still rushing. If you sit on your bid for awhile formal rush is when most places will give your spot away

Go to as many summer things as you can. Formal is Bs as most good fraternities are filled basically
