Recs should be in by the end of July latest. It's all electronic. Make sure your rec writers are tech savvy enough to feel comfortable with this. Each chapter's rec form info and link is on their page on the panhellenic site. You need to make sure you know this info for each chapter yourself so you can guide your rec writer. Don't make her look around for it; provide her the info she needs to make it easier. Your recruitment registration form should have all the information on it that your resume does, so your resume is just informational for your rec writers to use. Do upload a good headshot when you register. Write thank you notes to your rec writers and follow up to tell them where you land.

Some sororities still use paper. So do a digital version and a paper version. Ask your rec writer. They will know what their sorority requires.

Ask the alum what they prefer- paper or digital. Past that, just let them know when your recruitment is. Any alum with any clue knows where to go to get her rec form and info on where to send it. Also, please don't say to them "this needs to be mailed by such and such date". They know what they need to do. :)

Make sure that your resume looks good. Many alums send your resume along with their rec form. Rush chairs and other memevers of the rush committee do look at resumes. This is true for paper and electronic copies. Some sororities still prefer paper copies.
