Boys. Fraternities. Drinking. Partying. Personal problems or life issues you are experiencing. Politics or controversies. Other sororities. Other PNM's. Money. Choose your words carefully - no bad language or anything that makes you sound negative or complaining. Don't act disinterested or bored at any house. The actives will guide your conversations mostly, so just take your prompts from them.

This is 100% accurate! Also be very polite and respectful to the sisters and don't bad talk any other organization or PNM because if you do it will make you look dramatic and rude and no sorority wants a sister like that. Also try to connect with the sisters during the conversation but don't over do it. Just be genuine and nice.

Is religion a no no?

There is no reason to talk about religion at a recruitment party unless your involvement in church or temple or whatever is a big part of your life.

It is fine to ask what kind of student organizations are available ie RUF, CRU etc.

Pleeeeaaaasse don't talk only about how nervous you are, even though you probably will be. When I'm rushing a girl and ask her what she thinks so far and she says she's having a great time and loving the experience it's SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. Most pnm's always say they're nervous or overwhelmed so when someone is positive and confident it really makes me remember her.
