act score in recruitment
by: qthis may be tricky to answer but which sororities focus a lot on ACT scores during recruitment? i am rushing next yr & i have a good GPA and am smart but i have test anxiety and i made a low af score on the act and i feel like some sororities wont give me a chance bc my act score is low, even though i volunteer and my gpa is good and im overall an amazing student besides when it’s test time. sooooo which sororities will automatically not consider me bc of my score? just wondering

GPA is more important because we need to make sure you will be able to handle sorority commitments while keeping up your grades. No PNM is going to get released solely on her ACT/SAT score. Don't worry about it because there is nothing you can do about your score at this point anyway. Worry about the things you can affect; present yourself as polished from head to toe and be confident, have good conversations and be interested in every house, be gracious to everyone (your fellow PNM's included), and keep an open mind because you are not too good for any house.
