Theta Chi had one of the best band parties I've been to at Auburn last night. Dunno if that means anything, but just sayin.

Theta chi is so far from top tier it's a joke. They have some great guys but only about 10% of the fraternity is worth talking to, the rest are just awkward weird guys that got bids because theta chi needs numbers. The only two worth mentioning on new row ever are beta and KA. KA is still considered old row because they don't want to get grouped in with everyone on new row. Theta chis need to stop getting on this site and ripping all the top tier fraternities down and self ranking. I see them on it on campus all the time, rocking their letters and posting on greek rank for everyone to see. Real cool theta chi.

If you've never hung out with them then you have no room to speak about them...I couldn't agree more with HAH. I personally rushed theta chi (not saying when) but I went to a band party and was using the bathroom and a brother asked if I was a pledge...obviously not (wearing pfg's and flip flops) I responded with no and he continued to 25 question me on how I got in, etc. there were about 80 people at the party including brothers. Most of them came off as over dressed- wanna be "frat stars." After being at auburn, I think the actives are trying too hard to be better than they actually are. The kids in the new pc that I've met (2) are weird, and I honestly don't see them hanging out with girls at all. Don't really ever hear of top tier sorority girls say "we're going to theta chi tonight" either. May have a big house but don't have a big enough rep to completely utilize it. Not top tier. Plain and simple.

After reading all of the ranks and posts over the past couple months that hate on Theta Chi, it has become clear that this is definitely 1 person. He obvioisly just hates Theta Chi and has nothing better to do than come on this site and always shoot them down. My best guess is that he didn't get a bid there and is still pissed off about it. Having said that, my first experience at Theta Chi was as a date to their casino night party in February, which was very fun. My second was their recent Caveman weekend which was one of the best paties I've been to over my 2 years at AU. There were hundreds of people there, the bands played forever, and there were groups of KDs, Phi Mus, Chi Os, and then some Alpha Gams that were dating brothers. Being in one of these "top tier" sororities myself, I will say that they're definitely moving up with their last pc being one of the best I've seen this past year. I wouldn't put them in my top 3 or 4 fraternities yet, but would put them in my top 5. Another good pc or two and they'll become a common "top tier" name around Auburn.

What's the deal with the less mentioned fraternities on New Row? Are any of them at all good? Referring to (DTD, AGR, Delta Sig, Pi Kapp, Delta Chi,etc.).
