Is it hard to get into a sorority as a transfer student from up north?

No. However if you come with that assumption and talk about it nonstop like so many girls do (they literally use that as the excuse for why they were dropped) then you're going to lower your chances. We hate hearing about how hard it is to come from up north all the time. If you don't like the culture, don't come. If you like the culture and are ready to dive right in, you should have no problem.
