stay safe out there

I'm posting this here in hopes of letting everyone know to never let your guard down while downtown, specifically Sky Bar. I know it's the cool thing to do to get an "in" with the owners, get on The List or even make it into the cooler at the end of the night...but please be careful! My friends (guys and girls) and I thought nothing could go wrong, but unfortunately last weekend I found myself in an awful situation. We had made it into the cooler, and we were all talking to the owners. Eventually, the topic of age came up. One of the owners asked me how old he looked, and he did not like my answer. He immediately snapped and pushed me backwards...HARD. He started screaming at me, calling me every name in the book. I calmly tried to leave the cooler to get a ride home. Unfortunately the owner continued to scream at me and began to charge at me while bouncers and his brother held him back. The police ended up being called.

I ended up not pressing charges because I didn't want to be the person to shut down everyone's favorite bar. I love Auburn and I have loved most of my nights spent at Sky Bar, but I don't want this to happen to someone else.
