rushing as a junior?

by:

So I'm currently a sophomore and may transfer to Auburn this spring as a junior once I get my AA. Pretty interested in joining a fraternity because I think it is a cool experience and will help me meet a lot of people. I was just wondering what my chances might be at getting a bid as a junior here?

I don't know about frats, they may be more open. I transferred as a junior and went through formal recruitment for a sorority and got dropped. So I'd say that it IS possible, it's just difficult. For frats I think it helps if you have some connections prior to rushing. It's more about who you know with them.
