bid list is already made, do i not have a chance?

No you definitely have a chance!! The "bid lists" are basically just "who they want" that they already know ... it's just girls that they know from home that would fit well in their sorority. Just because girls are on this list, doesn't mean they will pick that sorority. And the PNMs don't know they are on any lists, so they don't even know to choose one of the sororities that has them "on a list." The list don't even matter.. because the PNM has all week to pick and eliminate the sororities but at the end of the day you get to decide your top choices and many girls end up in sororities that the don't know anyone! All the sororities are looking to find awesome new girls in rush! For example 5 sororities could have the same girl from Birmingham on their list, but she can only choose one of them! Every sorority is looking for more girls to fill all their open spots so don't worry!

WE HAVE A RECRUITMENT WEEK THAT TAKES PLACE IN PERSON!!!

"Let's just stop throwing around the term 'bid list' like that and do better. The pnm's are nervous enough and this kind of distortion helps no one. The girls that a house is interested in are not on a bid list somewhere and anybody who says different is an outsider who is just shooting off a big mouth. Truth: while there are girls that actives already know personally and are interested in, there are zero bid lists in existence at any house until actual recruitment when pref round is over. There are no guarantees for pnm's or houses at this point, no matter what rumors you hear."

I'm in a middle tier sorority and we do not have a bid list whatsoever. My big is from the west coast as well. No worries :)
