going out before rush

Is it looked down on to go out before rush? Can you drink before rush?? I know some schools that don't mind at all and some do

I'd err on the side of caution. You'll have plenty of time to party later.

If you get cut from a house you loved because of something you did beforehand, would you feel bad? Probably. Why risk it?

I wouldn't. Me and my friends were at one of Theta Chi's rush parties and a couple KDs we know from high school were there. They told us we shouldn't go to anymore frat parties or anything like that before rush because it could look bad, especially if something happens. I'd play it safe and just wait till the fall.
