pledging

Gonna be at Auburn next year and want to pledge a fraternity for sure. What frats are best/what are the reps? Also, how crazy does Auburn go with hazing? Don't want anything too ridiculous. Just looking for a solid brotherhood. Are there frats/sororities that tend to go together/mix more than the others? Know some schools have that. Thanks for the info.

auburn doesn't do the brother sister fraternity sorority thing. some tend to associate together but nothing is set in stone. my advice rush a lot of places find somewhere you feel comfortable. hazing is nothing at some places a couple do a little. none of them are anywhere like bama. Just walk down new and old row and introduce yourself as soon as you get up here.

Let's be serious. Auburn isn't as bad as Bama with hazing, but if you're going down Old Row (with the exception of a few that randomly ended up over there) you can expect to be hazed. Same with KA, Beta, FIJI, and other top houses. If you want a good brotherhood without a lot of hazing, try Phi Tau, Phi Delt, and Theta Chi.

first it's a fraternity, second stay as far away from sigma chi and SAE if you're scared to be hazed. Go check out kappa sig or delta chi those seem like two solid choices for someone who's scared to be hazed.
