kd legacy

KD is known for legacy because it has been here since the 1920's. That means that granddaughters and great-granddaughters of former chapter members come through. Legacy will get you a little extra look from the Auburn chapter, but that's all. You will succeed or not on your own merit. That's true for any chapter.

KD is a very large sorority nationwide but especially in the South. There are so many KD legacies that it's not possible for them to take all of their legacies. While it may get you a little more consideration, I certainly would suggest relying on the fact that you are legacy.

I am a KD leg as well and i got cut. they seem to know who they want before rush, regardless if the girls are legacies or not. i feel like auburn sororities don't take the whole legacy thing very seriously, which is probably for the better. Just be true to yourself in rush and you will end up where you need to be!

This applies to all chapters not just KD. I know a girl who was a double legacy for another chapter and she got cut while her sister was an active member! Legacy status is a nice thing but don't put on all your eggs in one basket. Like someone said earlier there's way too many legacies for each girl to end up at their legacy house.

Unless you are from Birmingham or your dad makes a bunch of money I wouldn't count on it
