out of state rush

Theta Chi, Fiji, and Beta don't really care as much where you're from as long as you're cool and fit in. If they think you're good enough to be in their fraternity, you'll get a bid whether your in-state or not. So I recommend rushing these places.
Sigma Nu and KA are much more biased towards in-state kids for some reason. They hand out some out-of-state but very few. I wouldn't recommend spending your time at these.
Overall, you still have to play your cards right to get in with any of these fraternities since they're the top houses. Remember, they don't need you so they can afford to be overly selective. Just be yourself and you'll find your place.
