I'd say it's more of a three-way runoff between Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, and Fiji. This fall's pledge classes will show who is #1

I mean I get what you're saying, that no person's quality should be defined by his/her greek organization. But still, there's a reason that a guy who pledges one of the generally considered "bottom tier" fraternities or some "middle tier" fraternities would not have been able to get a bid at Fiji, Theta Chi, or Sigma Nu.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of quality guys who get bids to fraternities like Sigma Nu and Fiji and decide to pledge other ones that are not generally considered top-tier or don't rush them at all and probably would have gotten a bid there if they did. Judge people by their actions not by what fraternity they're in.

Okay I get that KA has some old traditions and all, but why other than that are they still even an option on this list? Their brothers are weird and awkward for the most part, they never throw any good parties, and really they don't do anything worthy of being "top" other than their traditional name? Also, Beta has fallen off the map to the point that their alumni are advising their siblings and kids to look elsewhere. Their brotherhood has collapsed and socially they've taken a tumble.
I understand Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, and Fiji being in the running for best fraternity, but I just think it's time to reconsider your #4 & #5 spots in the top 5. There's more deserving groups imo.

Good point, but KA and Beta are #4, 5 by default. I'm sorry, but there still just aren't any other fraternities that deserve to be called a "top tier" caliber. Lambda Chi? No, their social scene and recruitment has tanked. ATO? No, they have no permanent house, horrible social scene, and they still recruit like a middle tier. Pi Kapp? No, they're on the rise but still recruit like a middle tier. Sigma Pi, Sig Ep, Pike? All three, just no.
My point is, Sigma Nu, Fiji, and Theta Chi set the standard at the moment, so I think the "top tiers" need to just be a top 3 for now until somebody deserves to fill the top 5 again:
Top:
Sigma Nu, Fiji, Theta Chi
Upper Middle:
KA, Beta, Lambda Chi, ATO, Pi Kapp
Lower Middle:
Sig Ep, Pike, Sigma Pi, Phi Tau
