chance of top teir fraternity out of state
by: Incoming FreshmanI am an incoming freshman and am hoping to pledge a top teir fraternity. After reading many posts it seems like I have several disadvantages not coming from a southern state. However, I have a connection to SAE and enjoy many southern hobbies such a hunting and fishing. I also enjoy partying a lot. I feel like I would fit in but I'm worried that since I'm not coming from a southern state And have few connections I'm at a very large disavtange. Could I have some input on my position and my oppertunities at pledging a top tier fraternity

You have a shot at a few top tier fraternities. Fiji and Beta will still bid guys from anywhere out of state. Theta Chi and and SAE might bid you if you're from a state south of the Mason Dixon. KA and Sigma Nu are only bidding in-state now so no chance there. Best of luck to ya
