forget tiers
by: AlumAs someone who has been out of Greek life almost a year, I can honestly promise you tiers do not matter. I know it may seem silly for an alum to be on this page, but I remember being a freshman rushee looking at this page and taking it way too seriously..and it's disappointing to see the same bashing going on now as there was when I rushed. As corny as it sounds, you are in control of your college experience regardless of whatever bid you accept on bid day. I had friends in lower and higher "tiers" and it didn't make any difference to us. Don't get caught up in a "rank."

You do know all the negative posts are from those who monitor these sites to get people to write back, right? I'm in a "top" group as designated on here and I can tell you right now, no one acts like these trolls on here at all in real life on our campus.

KD has so many legacies that even top legacies cannot get in unless the alumni want them, that simply means that great girls pledge all the groups if they don't get KD...the same type of girls that KD would pledge if they could pledge everyone! So all the sororities have the same kind of girls! Just be happy and pledge the group you feel good in and make it the best you can!

Great message and I have no problem with it even though I am in one of those that is usually designated as a "top" group. I have great friends in all the sororities and believe me - it is important to know more than jus those in your own group!

Says a "top tier" achieved through Mommy and Daddy legacy connections. Post was accurate. What? you really think youre going through life as a "top tier" getting a job , spouse or co-worker respect because of it. Good luck with tha! Youre in for a huge massive reality check! War Eagle "top tier"!
