Top tiers at Auburn are filled with guys and girls who got bids thanks to their alumni parent begging for their spot. Those same "top tiers" would not have received their bids had it not been for their helicopter parents. Legacies get rejected all the time. The rejectable ones that get bids are the ones that had parents who begged or played politics to avoid their kid being dropped during rush. The tier system is meaningless. I went through rush and am in a middle tier sorority (according to this list) . I chose middle over ( according to this
list) top and upper middle sororities.
I dropped them because one group had members that had crazy written all over them. The other group , by their own admission, had fewer senior members and girls that seemed to have their priorities in the wrong order ( trying to be nice). I went through rush looking for a sisterhood , not a tier position. If I had joined either one of those 2 sororities, I know I wouldnt have had the sorority experience that I wanted and have. Glad I didnt make the mistake of focusing on tier position during rush.

I am in one of the top tier sororities that you say only legacy, pushy parent girls join or are given a bid. I am neither of those. I had one friend in my sorority, strong recs, good grades and involvement and was a fit. You sound bitter. Glad you enjoy your sorority and glad it's not mine.

Yea. So which camp do you fall into with your sorority? You more of the "Victoria Secret model" sorority camp member or more on the Amy Schumer side of your sorority's hotness spectrum. Because each sorority, including the one you mentioned, has girls that are super good looking and not so much. There are no exceptions.

I'm a guy in a fraternity who has to monitor this website for rush. No, aopis generally aren't as attractive as say phi mu or kd

posting on most of the sorority posts, but we all know that. After KD, XO, AGD and ADP, all the other groups are about the same. There really are no bad sororities and no one goes around saying what tier they think a group is in. How immature do you think college kids are. The #1 group should be whatever you are in. Those that are posted low on this ranking and the other one posted by the very same person has group low that are some of the most involved on campus. Guess the poster didn't get into an organization that these groups are head of. As a whole, my personal opinion is that all the sororities get along very well with each other and many girls have close friends in other sororities. Perhaps the poster hasn't met many people or has friends only in their group.I'm not sure this is someone from AU really, what group is axid?

You're someone intentionally leaving Phi Mu out of your "top" group because you're obviously threatened by them. They're renowned around Auburn as a top sorority whether you like it or not. Sorry honey, just the facts.

I agree with a post finally! I am in one of those top groups and I certainly have never heard anyone ever mention getting on here and ranking groups. Why would a group ranked at the top all the time need to even rank others?? Exactly who are we trying to tell it to if everyone already knows it? I personally have many friends in other sororities, in fact my very best friend since 6th grade is in one of the so called "lower" groups. I wish we could be in the same group but it didn't turn out that way but it hasn't bothered our friendship at all. She's been chosen to be in several organizations that I didn't get in so it all evens out. The main thing is, when you go to college...enjoy it. Those posting the negative posts on here must be alumni who think the groups act like something from old sorority movies where the mean girls are against the sweet girls. Never seen it. War Eagle!

This may be true with the sororities, but that's not at all how it works during fraternity rush.
