sophore rushing

Rushing as a sophomore can be a little awkward, because a lot of the questions are geared towards freshmen- ie, "are you excited for football season? Did you get tickets? How was moving in?". Also remember that recruitment is a business deal- they want someone who will pay dues for four years, not three, and there is no quota for upperclassmen during recruitment (which sucks). If you have solid grades, you're going to get a second look. I rushed as a sophomore, had a full schedule, had six other sophomores in my pledge class, and we took twelve sophomores this past year. Go in, be yourself, smile, it'll be a little rough and finding a big will be weird, but it's definitely worth it.
