rerushing as a sophomore

Would it be a waste of time to re-rush in the fall as a sophomore? I received a bid but dropped it the same day because rush week and bid day were overwhelming, and I figured it be too much for me to handle my freshman year. I have a 3.5 and I'm involved on campus. Thank you!!!
