fiji island was a really good time but they could improve on their actions. after a few games at their house a few of my sisters and i were treated relatively rudely and ignored. the great thing is they are rich but they could afford to buy themselves a personality.

I went to a couple rush parties this summer that were awkward and sausage fests. From what I've heard they are great on campus.

What's wrong with being a GDI? Not everyone is wealthy and can afford to take part in Greek Life. I had to work 30 hours a week during all 4 years of high school, as an out of state student in order to help my folks out with the tuition and I'm paying for my fraternity dues at Sigma Nu (meal plan, living in the house). Just because someone who is an independent and is not involved in Greek Life doesn't mean they can be looked down upon as pathetic and as a "GDI." I have quite a few friends that are Independents, and virtually everyone in my fraternity has friends that are Independents and hang out with them or grab a bite to eat every now and then w/ them. I really don't care if someone is not in Greek Life or not & neither do numerous of my fraternity brothers.

Honest Review (Part II): These guys do a TON for the community through their philanthropy efforts-they usually do a football game against different fraternities each year, which ALWAYS raises a ton of money. They have a TON, and when I say a TON, I mean a TON of socials. Their phi gam christmas party has been excellent according to girls I'm good friends with that were asked as dates of the pledge classes the last 2 years. They have a pig roast dinner type thing, they went to New Orleans for a break this past year. They also have FIJI Island, which takes place at the end of the year and always has a great turn out. It's a formal type thing, but not you're typical HS prom/ball thing. They have part of it outside (I believe) and the girls I am friends with that have gone to it, as well as my friends in Fiji have said it was an amazing time. Despite all of the bickering between me and Wardamn over various people, this is a solid fraternity at AU. Most expensive dues-wise (I believe).

May isn't the most vocal person, but at times, he thinks he's the man cuz he buys girls and other people everything...as if money is no object.

You clearly don't know him. Whitt's a great, down-to-earth kid and is one of the few kids in the 10-11 pledge class that doesn't act like he's all that because his family has money. He actually works full time and isn't snotty like quite a few kids in his pledge class like May, Dutch, Morgan and Logan who buy girls everything and ring up their credit cards...which by the way have their daddy's money on it...buying front row tickets to every big sporting event...with daddy's money...they've never worked a day in their life. I'm entering my junior year at Sigma Nu, and although he was just a pledge this year, he was a great kid and fun to chill with.

we get it you are rich, but i get really tired of how they always try to buy stuff for me and a lot of other girls. Its nice and everything but after a while they act like they are trying to show off. They are really involved but need to learn to loosen up and become more down to earth-reality check
